Data Deletion Instructions

At Amino Health, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated personal data, we provide simple methods to do so.

Once you request account deletion, we will permanently remove your personal information from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory purposes.

Method 1: Delete Account Through the App

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Amino Health mobile app on your device
Navigate to the "Settings" page (usually found in the bottom navigation or main menu)
Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" option
Click on "Delete Account"
Follow the confirmation prompts to permanently delete your account

Important: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including your supplement history, preferences, and account information will be permanently deleted.

Method 2: Email Data Deletion Request

If you're unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, you can contact us directly:

Please include the following information in your email:

Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
The email address associated with your Amino Health account
Your full name (as registered with your account)
Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data

Response Time: We will process your deletion request within 5 business days and send you a confirmation email once completed.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we will permanently remove:

Your account profile and login credentials
Personal information (name, email address, preferences)
Your supplement history and tracking data
Health goals and preferences
Any content you've created or shared
Usage analytics tied to your account

Data Retention Exceptions

Please note that some information may be retained for legal or business purposes:

Transaction records (for tax and accounting purposes)
Communications with customer support (for quality assurance)
Data required to be retained by law or regulation
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be linked back to you

Any retained data will be kept secure and used only for the specific legal or business purposes for which it is retained.

Before You Delete

Consider these alternatives:

Temporary deactivation: Contact us if you'd like to temporarily suspend your account instead
